PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete-made storage container capable of strong radioactive materials safely, stably and for a long period and astorage room of the concrete-made storage container. SOLUTION: A nearly cylindrical container body 12 formed with concrete has a column shape container part 22, and in this container part, a canister 14 sealing radioactive material is contained. The air introduced through an intake piece 26 placed at the bottom of the container body flows through a cooling air path 24 located between the inner surface of the container part and the outer surface of the canister, removes heat generated out of the radioactive material and is exhausted out of the exhaust piece 28 placed in the upper part of the container body. In between the inner surface of the container body and the cooling air path, a metal-made linear 30 is placed. In between the inner surface of the container body and the liner, a buffer 32 is provided. The buffer shields neutron generated from the radioactive materials, has insulation effect and absorbs deformation due to thermal expansion of the liner.
