METHOD AND MACHINE FOR ULTRASONIC SHOT BLASTING OF WORKPIECES ON A WHEEL

The invention concerns a shot blasting method called ultrasonic using a mist of microbeads inside a working chamber (30c), and more particularly a method for shot blasting workpieces (21) on a wheel (19), such as the vanes of turbo-machine blades on a rotor. Said method is characterised in that it consists in bringing the periphery of the wheel (19) simultaneously in front of the orifices of at least three chambers with limited clearances E1 and E2, at least one chamber being active, at least two chambers being passive, the wheel being then rotated, and the microbeads are removed from the passive chambers and the active chambers are fed with microbeads. The invention also concerns a shot blasting machine for implementing said method.
