PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cansiter capable of storing radioactive materials safely, stably and for a long period and a concrete-made storage container provided with it. SOLUTION: A cylindrical container body 12 formed of concrete has a column shape container part 22, and in this container part, a canister 14 sealed with radioactive material is contained. The canister has a metal-made sealed container 15 and the surrounding wall 17 of the sealed container is press-machined in wave shape and has a multitude of ups and downs extending to axial direction. The air introduced through an intake 26 provided at the bottom of the container body flows through a cooling air path 24 defined in between the inner surface of the container part an the outer surface of the canister, cools the heat generating from the radioactive material and is exhausted out of an exhaust piece 28 provided on the container body.
