PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil capable of maximizing accelerating easily for an actuator driven by a coil and a stationary magnetic circuit, in a coil-driven actuator with a coil, mounted on the main body to be moved, magnetically- coupled with the stationary magnetic circuit formed of a magnet and a square yoke so as to be movable on one side of the yoke. SOLUTION: This actuator is formed so that, relative to the mass Mo of the main body, the densityρof the coil, the densityδof a coil resistor, and the coil resistance R, the total length of the coil (L) may be taken as L=(MoR/ρδ)1/2 and the radius of the coil (r) as r=(δan/ Rπ)1/2=(1/π.(Moδ/ρR)1/2)1/2 under the condition of constant resistance and the mass of the coil may be equal to that of a moving part except the coil.
