PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for suppressing a dead water region being generated at the after-flow region of a heat transfer pipe and maintaining a high heat exchange rate without providing any separate members at the outside. SOLUTION: A pair of triangular eddy generation members 4 are provided left and right on the surface of a flat-plate fin 1 at the upwind side of each heat transfer pipe 2. When air passes through the eddy generation member, a vertical eddy is generated to disturb flow on the surface of the heat transfer pipe 2, thus preventing air from the heat transfer pipe 2 from being released and suppressing the generation of a dead water region.
