A method for estimating the measurement of absorbance of a sample which cannot be measured by conventional spectroscopic analysis. A sample having a known measurement is irradiated with electromagnetic radiation in an ultraviolet, visible, or near-infrared region, and an absorption signal value for electromagnetic radiation of two or more wavelengths not composed only of the electromagnetic radiation in the near-infrared region. Multiple regression analysis is performed using the absorption signal value for radiation of two or more wavelengths as an explanation variable and the measurement of the sample as an object variable, and a working curve is determined. An unknown measurement of the sample is estimated from the working curve based on the absorption signal value for radiation of two or more wavelengths of the sample.
|
