PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging instrument for displaying a toothbrush case which has a simple construction and can be fabricated at low cost. SOLUTION: A groove-shaped recess 14 formed on the surface of a paper board 12 is formed by folding the central portion of the paper board 12 into a shape having a concave cross section, and a toothbrush case 2 is stored in the recess 14. A fixing part 15 formed by transversely cutting up the inner side of the recess 14 into a belt shape is provided over the recess 14 to fix a dandle storing part 2b of the case 2. The fixing part 15 nearest to a brush storing part 2a of the case 2 is brought into engagement with the storing part 2a from below to support it when the hanging instrument 10 is suspended. Thus, the case 2 is prevented from falling down from the paper board 12.
