PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of a motor by suppressing wear of a brush and heat generation of a driving element in a pump control device to drive a pump by controlling the duty ratio of the motor serving as a driving source of the pump. SOLUTION: A build-up control to give a duty ratio signal having an intermediate duty ratio which is an intermediate value between a duty ratio of 0% and a required duty ratio is carried out relative to a motor 8 to drive a pump 4 for a designated time, when inputting the required duty ratio from a condition wherein the duty ratio is 0%.
