<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved method and device for controlling light distribution (luminous intensity distribution) of a headlannp device of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the control method of the light distribution of the headlamp device of the vehicle, at least one first optical sensor detects light radiation to various ranges of a view field in the running direction that is applied to a driver of the vehicle from the view field, a comparing device compares intensity of the light radiation to each region with a limit value, and a control device controls the light distribution of the headlamp device depending on a signal of the comparing device. For providing improved method and device for controlling the light distribution of the headlamp device of the vehicle, a switch off delaying part is provided together with a previously connected steady time portion so that the light distribution improves illuminance of an edge of an own lane. The limit value of the comparing device depends on a peripheral luminous intensity averaged over a predetermined period.</p> |
