PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of ozone gas explosion when a refrigerator loses the temperature controllability in a device for generating liquefied ozone by cooling an ozone-containing gas in an ozone chamber 9 by the refrigerator. SOLUTION: An emergency power supply 29 using a battery as a power source is provided and when the refrigerator 20 loses the temperature controllability, ozone exhausting devices 11-14 are forcibly operated to discharge the ozone-containing gas and the liquefied ozone by utilizing the time until ozone in the ozone chamber reaches the explosion temperature. A 2nd ozone exhausting device increased in exhausting capacity is provided in addition to the ozone exhausting devices 11-14 and is forcibly operated to work in combination when the refrigerator loses the temperature controllability.
