PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation feeling of a vehicle driver while realizing a request for the override and a request to change the set car speed generated during the control by operating an operating member in common to the vehicle driver. SOLUTION: When an acceleration pedal is operated at an operating speed more than the threshold value (S1440: NO), override condition is realized (S1450). On the other hand, in the case of directing a change of the set car speed, the acceleration pedal is operated at an operating sped less that the threshold value. The set car speed is change in response to the pedal operation quantity. Override and a change of the set car speed can be directed at the same time by changing the operating speed while operating the same acceleration pedal.
