PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid detergent composition of a solidified product of an N-acyl neutral amino acid salt, providing low irritation, excellent in foamability and refreshing feeling, hardly having greasy feeling, stiff feeling, creaking feeling and attached feeling, hardly deformed by dissolving, excellent in preservability in high humidity, and good in moldability. SOLUTION: This solid detergent composition containing the N-acyl neutral amino acid compound is characterized by 0.5-10.0 wt.% carboxyvinyl polymer and/or alginic acid salt included therein, and pH 5.5-7.0 of the solid detergent.
