PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tool changing device of simple constitution and low cost. SOLUTION: A pair of unclamping arms 26 are provided on a spindle head 11 to be capable of oscillation, a pressure-contact roller 34 is provided on a rear end of the unclamping arm 26, and a presser roller 30 is provided at a tip to compose an unclamping means 25. On a tool magazine 24, an operation member 40 is provided. For replacement of tools, the spindle head 11 and the tool magazine 24 are relatively moved, the unclamping means 25 is operated by the operation member 40, and a quick change holder 13 is set at clamping/ unclamping condition for change of tools. Need of providing plural unclamping means on the tool magazine 24 is thus eliminated, whereby a simple structure and a low cost can be achieved.
