PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for manufacturing a heat exchanger, with which in each process, a core is pressed with suitable pressure and the core can be held by raising the stickiness without developing gap between respective members and joinability with a brazing is improved, and a manufacturing method of the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In the jig 10 used for manufacturing the heat exchanger which is provided with a tube element constituting tubes 2 made to flow of a medium in the inner part and the core 1 laminating fins 3 arranged between the tubes, the jig is provided with side plates 11A, 11B arranged at both side parts of the core and supported members 12A, 12B, 13A, 13B for supporting the side plates from both ends. The above jig arranges an elastic member 14 connected between the supporting members for supporting both side plates. Further, the heat exchanger is manufactured by using the above jig.
