PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a milk product which has a texture quite different from conventional milk products, can satisfy the palatability of children, is also suitable for remote transportation, and does not have the problem of decay. SOLUTION: This method for producing the milk product, comprising adding a milk raw material containing powdered skim milk, modified milk powder or whole milk powder in an amount of >=50%, granulating the mixture, feeding the pellets adjusted to a water content of 10 to 15% into the cylinder barrel (2) of a foaming device (1), rotating the screw (10) of the foaming device (1) to heat and knead the pellets in a process for transferring the pellets to the tip of the cylinder barrel (2), storing the kneaded product as a plasticized product in the top measuring chamber (3) of the cylinder barrel (2) under a higher pressure than the saturated vapor pressure of the water, and then driving the screw (10) in the axial direction to extrude the stored plasticized product at a high pressure and at a high speed into the atmosphere, thus affording the milk snacks. |
