PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptive paper used for melt type heat transfer recording system excellent in printer running properties and the transfer receptivity of an ink. SOLUTION: In this melt type heat transfer receptive paper having an ink receptive layer mainly comprising an adhesive and a pigment provided on a base paper, the receptive layer includes a silicone-based graft resin comprising silicone as a branch component and a polymer consisting of polymeric monomer units as a main component and a cured amino resin. A melt type heat transfer receptive paper comprises the silicone based graft resin which is a silicone- moldified alkyd resin and/or a silicone-moldified acrylic resin. A melt type heat transfer receptive paper comprises an amino resin which is an alkanol- modified amino resin.
