PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure having excellent durability not generating the movement of honeycomb segments caused by vibration or back pressure at the time of use. SOLUTION: A honeycomb structure 1 is formed by bonding a plurality of honeycomb segments 3 having a large number of flow holes, which are partitioned by partition walls, axially piercing therethrough by a bonding material. The flatness of the outer wall becoming the bonding surface of each of the honeycomb segments 3 is 2 mm or more. |
