PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bird without spoiling the appearance of a building. SOLUTION: This bird-preventing tool is characterized by a stretchable elastic part having an engaging means at the tip, a fitting part having a through hole formed at the center, and fitted to the elastic part in a state in which the stretching of the elastic part is regulated, and a wire part inserted into the through hole and having a means for preventing the pulling-out at the inserted tip, possessed thereby. It is suitable that the bird-preventing tool is arranged by wiring each wire part at the position of about <2 cm from the edge part of an installation portion at about <4 cm prescribed interval so that the tension may be regulated.
