PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly enhance the workability of reroofing by avoiding the driv ing of fixing pieces, such as a drill vis to a slate roof plate. SOLUTION: This frame for reproofing on an existing corrugated slate roofing member 1 with a new roofing member 2 consists of a roof surface. By straddling the crest portion 3 of the slate roof member 1, a plurality of almost gate-shaped support devices 5 placed at eh valley portions 4 at both the sides are continued, thereby forming a supporting frame 6. At one end side of the support frame 6, a hook portion 7 is formed, and a hook receiving portion 8 is formed at the end portion of the other side. A linking piece 10 is linked for stopping the pull-out to an existing fixing device 9 fixing the slate roof member 1 to one supporting device 5. At the top of the supporting device 5, a fixing holding portion 16 holding a fixing device 15 of the new roofing member 2 laid on the support frame 6 is formed.
