PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landslide preventing wire netting which can be laid easily on a slope and can be prevented from getting rusty. SOLUTION: The landslide preventing wire netting is formed by weaving longitudinal wires 3 and transversal wires 5 in a crossing way. A protective wire 1 is supported by the transversal wires 5 in such a way that the wire 1 is laid in parallel with the longitudinal wires 3 and constitutes the principal section of one side of the external form of the net. The cut faces of the horizontal wires 5 are positioned on the protective wire 1. In addition, the end faces of the transversal wires 5 are spot-welded to the wire 1 at every prescribed number. The spot-welds between the transversal wires 5 and protective wire 1 and the cut faces of the wires 5 positioned on the wire 1 are coated with an antirust 7.
