PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent useful for use to remove a chemical substance attached to the surface of a food material and for use to carry out disinfection from shell of scallop, not to cause health disturbance and diseases and to effectively use a waste. SOLUTION: This detergent is obtained by formulating calcium carbonate powder composed of powder prepared by grinding shell provided with crystal structure of calcite type structure of calcium carbonate with calcium oxide powder obtained by baking the calcium carbonate powder.
