PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a sense of incompatibility regarding a brake operation feeling. SOLUTION: A high liquid pressure fed from an accumulator 26 constituting an auxiliary liquid pressure generation device 25 to a passage 33 is fed to wheel brakes 11, 12, 13, 14 through a normal close type solenoid closing valve 35, a pressure reduction valve 36 and normal close type solenoid closing valves 40, 42. When a control for maintaining a distance between vehicles is carried out, normal open type solenoid closing valves 34, 38, 43, 44 and normal close type solenoid closing valves 35, 40, 42 are in an excitation state. When a brake operation existence detector 53 detects an existence of the brake operation against a brake pedal 15, a control device 31 simultaneously extinguishes an excitation in the normal open type solenoid closing valves 34, 38, 43, 44 and the normal close type solenoid closing valves 35, 40, 42.
