PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can efficiently reinforce a carcass layer in a sidewall part, can sufficiently keep maneuvering stability even when the sidewall part is thinned, and includes the sidewall outermost layer with an adequate hardness. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises the carcass layer 5 for reinforcing a gap between a pair of annular bead parts 1 with substantially radially aligned organic fibers and a belt layer 6 disposed outside the carcass layer 5 near a tread part 4, and a sidewall rubber 2 is formed with a plurality of layers. An inner reinforcing rubber layer 10 with 65-97 deg. JISA hardness is disposed inside the carcass layer in at least the sidewall part, the innermost layer 2b of the sidewall rubber 2 is formed with a rubber layer with 65-97 deg. JISA hardness, and the outermost layer 2a of the sidewall rubber 2 is formed with a rubber layer with 50 deg. or lower JISA hardness.
