PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input device that can surely close a key contact also in the case of a seesaw key 15 in the key input device where a dome sheet 7 having a plurality of dome parts is arranged on a base plate 5 as well as a plurality of manipulation parts for pressing each dome part is arranged on the upper part of the dome sheet 7 and where the dome part is reversible turned by pressing with the manipulation key so that it can be returned resiliently and the contact is closed. SOLUTION: In a key input apparatus according to the invention, a plate portion 70 formed in surroundings of each dome part of a dome sheet 7 has an inner side region 74 of a plurality of dome parts 72 pressed selectively by a seesaw key 15 centering a rolling axis 15a, and an outer side region 73 of the plurality of dome parts 72, and the spacer sheet 6 is interveningly located between the base plate 5 and the dome sheet 7, whereby the height of the inner side region 74 of the plate portion 70 of the dome sheet 7 becomes lower than that of the outer side region 73.
