PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problem that conventional technology has a limit to control over the distribution of crystal particle sizes of an information recording magnetic film by a seed layer on a magnetic disk and very-high-density recording exceeding 40 Gb/inch2 can not be performed stably and to further improve the reproduction sensitivity for magnetooptic recording since the magnetic domain sizes abruptly become much smaller by the progress of higher density. SOLUTION: An information recording device which has at least a very small light source and an information recording medium for recording information actualize high-density information recording by using a reproduction system for reproducing information recorded on an information recording medium by irradiating the information recording medium surface with the light emitted from the very small light source through a polarizer, causing change of a plane of polarization through the magnetooptic effect that the information recording medium has, simultaneously to the reflection of the light on the medium surface, and detecting the change.
