PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior finishing material and a building it capable of being used for a ceiling and a wall without requiring much labor in setting, excellent in heat conduction and easy in endothermy and radiation. SOLUTION: The interior finishing plate material mixing at least any one of a humidity control material and a thermal storage material is used for the floor material 9, the ceiling material 12 or the like of a building. Furthermore, the interior finishing material is produced to knead the humidity control material such as a coating wall material (for instance, a diatom-earth wall) 13, a joint material and putty, the thermal storage material (thermal storage material of concentration of about 50%), and coated by a trowel or a spatula to complete interior finishing.
