TURNING REGULATION DEVICE AND RECLINING DEVICE OF SEAT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning regulation device capable of steplessly and bilaterally regulating the turning position of mutually turnable members and a reclining device of a seat capable of steplessly adjusting the reclining position of a seat back in a strong fixing strength and having no problem about the right and left angular deviation. SOLUTION: The device is demarcated between the mutually opposite faces of the inner peripheral member and the outer peripheral member turnably and coaxially supported. A pair of rolling members are susceptibly put in circumferential series in a vacant space gradually circumferentially narrowing. These rolling members are separated from each other and urged to the narrowed part of the vacant space. The rolling members are made close to each other by the external operation and makes it possible to selectively press to the separating direction even from any narrowed part of the vacant chambers. Usually the rolling member is urged to the narrowed part of both circumferential sides of the vacant chamber (locked condition). By remotely operating an unlocking means, the pair of rolling members are separated from the narrowed part of the vacant space (unlocked condition). In this way, the members can be locked/unlocked to both rotary directions at a required position.
