PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentric bearing unit for which high accuracy is required at low cost. SOLUTION: In this eccentric double bearing, a relatively small diameter inner bearing JI having a rolling element (e.g. tapered roller) 5 between an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 22 with a double raceway concentric with the inner ring 1, and a relatively large diameter outer bearing JO having a rolling element (e.g. tapered roller) 4 between an inner ring 23 with a double raceway and an outer ring 2 concentric with the inner ring 23 are arranged in an eccentric relationship with each other and an eccentric ring 20 is inserted therebetween. The outside diameter surface of the eccentric ring 20 formed by the offsetting of cylindrical inner and outer surfaces from each other fits over the cylindrical inside diameter surface 23i of the inner ring 23 of the outer bearing JO and the inside diameter surface of the eccentric ring 20 fits over the cylindrical outside diameter surface 22o of the outer ring 22 of the inner bearing JI to constitute an intermediate ring unit 25. The inner bearing JI, the outer bearing JO and the eccentric ring 20 which serve as component elements are all easy to fabricate, machine and assemble, suitable for mass production, and inexpensive.
