PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device reducing the friction with a guide plate as much as possible and smoothly conveying a thin sheet. SOLUTION: A conveyance roller 3 conveys the thin sheet S. A box-shaped base 1 is positioned in the downstream side in the sheet conveying direction of the conveyance roller 3 and a guide plate 2 having a plurality of holes 6 formed therein is mounted on its opened top to form a space 1a. The base 1 is provided with an opening 7 and a duct 5 for feeding air is connected thereto and connected to an air feed source such as an air blower and an air compressor. The air fed from the air feed source is fed from the duct 5 to the space 1a of the base 1 through the opening 7 and jetted upward from the holes of the guide plate 2 to float the sheet S from the upper face of the guide plate 2. This constitution can smoothly conveys the sheet S hardly touching the guide plate 2.
