PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate integral forming of a boots and reduce cost by dispensing with a small diameter boots band or the like, in a drive shaft comprising a shaft part including a pair of joint parts and an intermediate shaft connecting the pair of joint parts, and the boots which covers the shaft part and is constituted of a pair of flexible parts covering the joint parts and a straight part covering the intermediate shaft. SOLUTION: The boots 6 in which the pair of flexible parts 8, 8' covering the pair of joint parts 1, 1' and the straight part 9 covering the intermediate shaft 3 connecting the pair of joint parts 1, 1' are integrally formed is integrally formed by a thermoplastic elastomer or a composition including the thermoplastic elastomer. Inner diameter surfaces of ends of the flexible parts 8, 8' are respectively fixed to outer diameter surfaces of outer rings 5, 5' of the respective joint parts 1, 1' by welding jointing.
