摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a limit in shortening of a tact time whose limit is experienced by an equipment and method where an electric current is supplied for energizing control after a target pressurizing force is attained, to solve problems unsolved by a conventional technology, and to establish a technology for further decrease in the tact time. SOLUTION: The equipment is provided with a pair of electrodes, a command means of pressurizing, a detecting means of a pressurizing force. The equipment is also provided with a conversion means of a pressurizing force to a welding electric current, with which means a proper welding electric current corresponding to a detected pressurizing force is derived from the detected pressurizing force on the basis of a function of the predetermined pressurizing force to the welding electric current relation. Further, the equipment is provided with a controlling means of the welding electric current. After a work is inserted and held, the motion of the electrode begins at the same time of the beginning of a pressurizing command. A pressurizing to the work begins immediately after the electrode comes into contact with the work. On the basis of the function of the predetermined pressurizing force to the welding electric current relation, the proper welding current corresponding to the detected pressurizing force is derived from the detected pressurizing force. The welding electric current is supplied to the work.
