PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel not causing plastic deformation of a rotor arm even when the strength of rotor lowers. SOLUTION: This spinning reel is equipped with a reel body 2, a rotor 3, a spool 4 and cushion members 5a and 5b. The rotor has a cylindrical part 20 rotatably attached to the reel body 2, first and second rotor arms 21 and 22 mutually oppositely mounted on the side of the cylindrical part and a veil arm 23 for yarn guide swingably attached to both rotor arms. The spool has spool drum part 4a in which fishline guided by the veil arm is wound around the peripheral circumference, a skirt part 4b provided between both rotor arms in the rear of the spool drum part and a flange part 4c provided at the front end of the spool drum part and is attached longitudinally movably to the reel body. The cushion members are each a member made of an elastic body, arranged between both rotor arms 21 and the skirt part 4b and respectively attached to a first rotor arm 21 and a second veil supporting member 26 of the veil arm.
