PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and rapidly realize the quantitative discharge of a liquid material. SOLUTION: In a method for pressurizing a liquid material in a syringe and applying a specified amount of the liquid material from a nozzle communicating with the syringe to draw an image, parameters relative to the shape of a drawn image of the applied liquid material, preferably dots or lines, preferably one parameter selected from a group of a section area, an application width, an application height and an application diameter, are measured. Further, the measurements are adjusted so as to allow them to fall within the acceptable value range of the parameters relative to a desired shape of a specified drawn image, and preferably the pressurizing force is adjusted. Thus the method for drawing an image by applying the liquid is performed. The liquid applying device comprises a syringe for storing the liquid material, a pressure regulating means which pressurizes or reduces the pressure of the liquid material in the syringe, a nozzle which communicates with the syringe and has a discharge aperture at the tip, a moving means for moving the nozzle relatively with a work, a measuring means which measures the parameters relative to the shape of the applied liquid material, an arithmetic means which calculates an appropriate pressure upon a signal from the measuring means and preferably a shift pressure input means for inputting a shift pressure value. |
