PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic pad for a metal crawler, firmly attached to a cover plate to prevent looseness during travel and to prevent various defects caused by looseness. SOLUTION: This elastic pad mounted outside of each cover plate in relation to an iron shoe crawler with a large number of cover plates endlessly connected, has a pad body, a core material 2 provided inside the pad body, and a mounting means to the cover plate. An elastic protrusion is formed on the abutting face side to the iron shoe crawler from the core material, and the elastic protrusion has a size large enough to fill a clearance formed between the core material and the cover plate when both are mounted. 1 is an elastic pad; 1a is a pad; 2 is a core material; 3 is a hook part; 5 is an elastic protrusion.
