PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a round cutter assuring an enhanced cutting accuracy. SOLUTION: The round cutter is composed of a round cutting blade and a holder 1 in approximately a disc shape for holding the blade, wherein the holder 1 is furnished with a fixing means to fix the holder 1 to a shaft and a blade holding means to hold the blade and is provided in the center with a shaft hole 27 to admit insertion of the shaft, while the fixing means is composed of a resilient sleeve 5 in approximately cylindrical shape in slide contact with the inside surface 43 of the holder 1, a pressing means 11 to deform the sleeve 5 by pressing in the direction of the shaft, and rotating means 13 and 15 to rotate the sleeve 5 in the circumferential direction. The sleeve 5 has at least three plane parts 61 formed on the peripheral surface at a constant spacing, while the pressing means 11 is provided on the inside surface of the holder 1 in its portion mating with the planes 61 on the sleeve 5.
