PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nailing machine for portable use capable of preventing floor materials from being damaged not only in case it is installed in the back surface positioning but also in sideways lying position, as improvement from a conventional one in which only the body is fitted with a rubber member for prevention of damages, and when it is installed in the sideways lying position, a nail magazine may collide with the floor material to cause damaging. SOLUTION: Damage preventing members 11b, 12b, 13b are attached on the side face 2b of the body 2 of nailing machine and the side face 6b of the nail magazine 6 and are grounded so that the machine can be installed sideways facing in the three-point supported condition. Addition of another damage preventing member 15 on the bottom surface 6a of the nail magazine 6 will prevent damaging in case the machine is installed in the vertical positioning.
