PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk clamp mechanism which can be applied to a general disk drive, in which the number of part items can be reduced because of simple structure, and in which a disk can be securely held at an inner circumferential part of a disk hole 16a to improve action precision. SOLUTION: For holding a disk 16 using this disk clamp mechanism 10, each lock member 30 is diametrically inwardly displaced by a slider 26, and the outermost outer diameter of each lock part 60 is set to be sufficiently smaller than an inner diameter of a disk hole 16a. Next, each lock member 30 is lowered by an arm 20 to be inserted into the disk hole 16a, and the slider 26 is then moved up. By a spring member 64, then, each lock member 30 is diametrically outwardly displaced, and these are locked to an inner circumferential part of the disk hole 16a to hold the disk 16.
