PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly vacuum cleaner by improving air-tightness in the connection part of the cleaner body and the hose that has a suction pass and an exhaust, and a back pass at a low cost. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a connecting pipe 35 of two layer structures using inner tube as a suction pass and space between inner and outer tubes as an exhaust pass and connected with the cleaner main body 22, a connecting hole 23 of the main body 22 that connects the connecting pipe 35, a packaging 33 that passes through airtightly the inner tube and the suction pass 30 of the main body 22, and packing 94 that makes the connecting pipe 35 and the connecting hole 23 airtight, wherein the exhaust pass 93 in the main body 22 and the exhaust pass in the connecting 35 are passed through respectively between both packings.
