PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponics system which solves various problems in the hydroponics system. SOLUTION: In this hydroponics system, a root-taking member 4, a cover member 5 and a pressing force-adjusting member 6 are received in each of culture containers 1 stacked at multi-stages. The pressing force-adjusting member 6 is placed so as to be superposed on a cover member 5 to approximately uniformly press the cultured plants. A culture liquid is supplied into the highest culture container 1a from a liquid supply pipe 7, passed through liquid-passing pipes 8 disposed in the bottom portions of the culture containers 1, and then drained from the liquid drain pipe 9 of the lowest culture container 1b. When the cultured plants are harvested, the root-taking member 4 is placed in a vertical posture, and the root portions of the cultured plants 11 are cut down along the seed-receiving surface 4d of the root-taking member 4 by the use of a root- cutting device in which two relatively forward or backward moving blades are disposed in the vertical direction. |
