MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN COMPOSITION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new nonchlorine modified polyolefin composition which is excellent in adhesion to a polyolefin substrate and resistances to solvents, oils, and weathering, is not tacky, and is excellent also in cohesive power. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by the graft copolymerization of, based on the polymer component, 0.5-15.0 wt.% maleic anhydride and 0.1-7.5 wt.% styrene monomer, in a wt. ratio of maleic anhydride to the styrene monomer of 2 or higher but 5 or lower, onto a polymer component comprising polypropylene, an ethylene-propylene copolymer, or an ethylene-propylene-butene terpolymer.
