PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the C-arm and theΩ-arm of a biplane X-ray diagnostic apparatus to simultaneously move to LAO and RAO and to CRA and CAU without interfering with each other. SOLUTION: Rotation information for the C-arm, formed by a C-arm driving system 1, is converted by a coordinate conversion process circuit 3 into rotation information for theΩ-arm, which is then supplied to aΩ-arm driving system 2. TheΩ-arm driving system 2 controls the rotation of theΩ-arm according to the rotation information for theΩ-arm. Thus, the C-arm and theΩ-arm, maintained in their relative positions, can be controlled to simultaneously move to the LAO and RAO and to the CRA and CAU without interfering with each other.
