PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pnuematic tire capable of simultaneously providing controllability and gap absorbance. SOLUTION: An angleθc of a carcass cord 16 in a region 26 of one-third of a tread width TW is set in a range of 60 deg.-90 deg., an angleθs of the carcass cord 16 in an inner region 28 inside of the tire radius direction from a carcass maximum width position P is set in a range of 50 deg.-70 deg., andθc-θs is set in a range of 10 deg.-30 deg.. In an overlaying part between a body part 14A and a winding part 14B of a carcass ply 14, the carcass cord 16 forms a kind of cross structure (bias structure), and a transverse spring constant (transverse rigidity) for contributing improvement of the controllability can be increased without providing a reinforcement for a side part 30. Since the reinforcement is not provided for the side part 30, increase of a longitudinal spring constant (longitudinal rigidity) is suppressed, and the gap absorbance does not decrease.
