PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel hanging clamp of new constitution excellent in safety and workability without leaving flaws caused by clamping. SOLUTION: This steel hanging clamp 1 comprises a body plate 10 and a pair of hanging accessories 12, 12 rotatably journalled at both end parts of the body plate 10. The upper part of the body plate 10 is provided with a center hanging hole 11a and at least a pair of hanging holes 11b, 11b on both lateral sides so as to be able to attach/detach hanging hooks 3. Support pin holes 14 that can fit support pins 13 are provided at both end parts of the lower part of the body plate 10, in at least two positions different in a cross direction so as to be able to change a hanging accessory journaling position in conformity to the flange width of steel. Each hanging accessory 12 is rotatably journalled to the body plate 10 by the support pin 13 fitted into any position of the support pin hole 14, and its inner part is provided with a protruding part 12b interfering with the flange upper face of the steel, and a claw part 12a for supporting the flange lower face of the steel. When the clamp 1 is lowered by a crane or the like in conformity to the center of the steel, the hanging accessories 12 are automatically rotated and set into such a manner as to hug the flange of the steel.
