PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors comprising two pivotally attached blades capable of reducing the weight and adjusting the degree of the weight reduction. SOLUTION: Holes 3a are bored through front and rear of blades 2 of the scissors 1. If necessary, a pattern is formed along the rim of each hole 3a, or plural holes are arranged in a pattern. In another case, the holes are filled with a filling material lighter than the material of the blades.
