PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat that is free from facing separation from its pad even upon the application of stress to the pad. SOLUTION: The seat comprises a pad 6 consisting of foam and having grooves 14, facing 5 covering the pad 6, first wires 15 embedded in the pad 6 along the grooves 14 in an intermittently exposed fashion, second wires 12 integrated with the underside of the facing 5 and laid along the grooves 14, and hog rings 17 tightening the exposed portions of the first wires 15 and the second wires 12 together to fix the facing 5 along the grooves 14 of the pad 6. Reinforcing members 18 are disposed over corners 14a of the grooves 14 of the pad 6 where the first wires 15 are embedded.
