PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily drain water which has entered shoes and to avoid the complication of the shape of the upper surface of an outsole and components in forming a draining mechanism. SOLUTION: A water guiding surface for guiding entered water downward is formed in an insole, and water permeable holes extended downward are provided for a midsole below the water draining surface or a spacer layer corresponding to the midsole. Water passing grooves 8 connected to the water permeable holes, extended from a heel part 11 and an arch part 12 to a bowl part 14, and provided with inclination lowered toward the bowl part 14 are formed in the upper surface of an outsole 2. Temporarily accumulating spaces 9 each connected to the water passing groove 8 are secured in the bowl part 14 in the outsole 2. Water draining holes 10 to drain accumulated water in the temporarily accumulating spaces 9 to the sides of footwear are formed in the side surfaces of the outsole 2. Water which has entered the footwear is speedily drained, and water does not flow backward from the outside. It is possible to use a simple mold for the outsole 2 without mounting different components for passing water to the outsole 2.
