PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn guide for fishing rod that can efficiently be mounted and has a sufficient fixed strength and an enough flexibility in following the bending of the fishing rod. SOLUTION: This yarn guide 1 for fishing rod is equipped with a leg part 13 fixed to the fishing rod and forms a projection 3 for fixing a yarn on the upper surface of the leg part 13 and forms a ditch part 4 for imparting bending property to the leg part 13 on the lower surface of the leg part 13. The projection 3 for fixing yarn and the ditch part 4 for imparting bending property to the leg part 13 can simultaneously be formed at the same position by reducing work or press molding.
