PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably obtain a high deposition amount of flux cored wire for arc welding and to solve such problems as the brakage of a wire, etc., at the manufacture of this wire and the rise of manufacturing cost, etc. SOLUTION: In this high efficiency flux cored wire for gas shield arc welding, the specific resistance of the wire and the arc stabilizer contained in the filled flux are limited and contains no iron powder in the filled flux. In detail, the wire has a seamless steel-made outer shell metal in which the flux is filled and has 10-19μΩ.cm specific resistanceρ, and as the arc stabilizer, 0.14-1.10% Na2O and/or K2O are contained in the weight ratio of the wire and the filling ratio of the flux is 7-14%.
