PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer equipment for a mechanism parking facility which is unlikely to generate noise, is capable of improving the smoothness in sending-in/out and of reducing weight and cost. SOLUTION: Instead of driving a lateral conveyor 8 in a parking compartment by transmitting motive power to a lateral conveyor 8 in the car parking compartment from the side of a traveling carriage 6 through a motive power transmitting apparatus, control power for conveyor drive is supplied to a lateral conveyor motor 20b in the parking compartment from the side of traveling carriage 6 through first contacts 21, 22; thereby eliminating the occurrence of impact sound, retry of gear interlocking, and the causes or the like of the occurrence of reaction due to the engaged rotation of gears; then definitely driving the respective lateral conveyors 8 of the traveling carriage 6 and car parking compartment 4 with a simple configuration performing no mechanical motive power transmission; thereby creating a simple configuration compared with the case where a controller for controlling the drive of the lateral conveyor motor 20b and associated facilities are provided for each parking compartment.
