PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate orientation in the edge parts in the width direction. SOLUTION: The tip parts 17 of slice side walls 3a are formed into movable parts capable of being displaced in the width direction, and operation rods 19 of actuators 18 installed in both sides of a slice 3 are joined to the outer side faces. An orientation angle detector 20 for detecting fiber orientation angle at both edge parts in the width direction of a raw material 8 flowed out on a wire cloth 10, and a regulator 21 for sending an operation indication to the actuator 18 based on a detected signal from the orientation angle detector 20 are installed. The fiber orientation angle of the edge parts in the width direction on the wire cloth 10 is detected by the orientation angle detector 20, and when the difference from a desired fiber orientation angle is caused, the fiber orientation angle is regulated by changing the direction of the flow of the raw material 8 flowed out from the edge part in the width direction of the slice 3 by changing the angles of the tip parts 17 by the actuator 18.
